Vicki Tatton-BennettSenior Therapist
After qualifying from Southampton University in 2006 as a Physiotherapist, Vicki’s career began in the NHS working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist specialising in neurological conditions. With her strength and interest lying in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, Vicki joined the Spire Hartswood private hospital in 2007, working as both an inpatient and outpatient physiotherapist. Here she was promoted to a senior clinician and worked closely with upper limb consultants. In 2016 and with a young family in tow, Vicki joined a local physiotherapy and sports injury clinic in Southend-on-Sea where she practised all her skills to treat a wide range of patients and conditions.
Vicki has completed various postgraduate courses, specifically focused on the upper limb, in which she has a keen interest. She has also completed APPI Pilates matwork training as well as being registered with the AACP in the use of acupuncture. Vicki uses her acupuncture skills to treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions and combines this with manual therapy and exercise to address pain issues whilst restoring normal movement, strength and ultimately function.
When Vicki is not working she is busy looking after her two young children and in any spare time she enjoys house renovation projects, baking and long walks with the family dog.
